Body Book ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Body Book does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data you enter into the app is stored locally on your device only.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device:

• Daily body tracking entries (weight, exercise, diet, recovery, scores, comments)
• Dates of entries
• User preferences and settings
• Tag suggestions for faster data entry

How Your Data is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device using secure device storage (AsyncStorage). Your data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not transmitted to any servers
• Is not accessible to us or any third parties
• Is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app

Data We Do NOT Collect

Body Book does not collect, use, or share:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Analytics or usage data
• Cookies or tracking technologies
• Health data from Apple Health or other sources
• Any data from third-party services

Third-Party Services

Body Book does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. We do not use:

• Google Analytics
• Facebook SDK
• Advertisement networks
• Crash reporting services
• Any other third-party data collection tools

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures. We recommend:

• Using device passcode/biometric authentication
• Keeping your device's operating system updated
• Not sharing your device with others if privacy is a concern

Data Backup and Export

Your data may be included in device backups (iCloud or iTunes). You are responsible for managing your device backups. The app provides export functionality to save your data externally if desired.

Children's Privacy

Body Book does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since no data is collected or transmitted, the app can be used by users of all ages. Parents should supervise children's use of the app.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual entries within the app
• Uninstalling the app (this permanently deletes all local data)

Since we do not store your data on any servers, there is no data for us to delete on our end.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your Rights

Since Body Book does not collect or store any personal data, there is no personal data for you to access, correct, or request deletion of from our servers. You have complete control over your data on your device.

International Users

Body Book can be used worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device, no international data transfers occur.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

Body Book does not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

Body Book does not process personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All data processing occurs locally on your device.
